Legends of Terris is a text-only MUD game created and coded by Paul Barnett and Doug Goldner.[1] Terris is a wondrous land that is constantly evolving. It is a place where fortunes can be made and battles won, and the experienced adventurer can even reach the heavens!
Game characteristics
History
First launched in 1994 from Sub Cyberia, England's first internet cafe,[2] Legends of Terris went on to become the largest text-based game in Europe.[3] Legends of Terris was launched on AOL UK in 1995, and was then launched on AOL in the US in 1996.
The client software currently allows for a powerful combination of user-defined keyboard shortcuts, macros, colors, highlights, aliases, nicknames, and alerts.
