OE4 is a complete multiple character set index and signed font format. OE4 files are larger than older font formats but are superior since they don't require developing a new format to update the font format. While older font formats need to be updated to support multiple character sets in one file, or increase in size to accommodate larger character indices and symbols per glyph set, OE4 is already formatted with these.

OE4 was created by Dr. Simon A. Roberts (See: https://github.com/DrARoberts) of the Chronolabs Cooperative, and was developed to address the flaws with older font formats. The OE4 font files are signed and sealed and have character data indexes so it is possible to download in distinct parts. Users will note that it is similar to *.ufo mechanism of glyph plotting and there is support for 3d, 4d + 5d glyphs.

Welcome to the *.OE4 Font Type & File Formats Wiki

This font format has multiple characters set support within the font so it doesn't require breaking it up, or changing the format. For example, with HTML you can implement this font with the course of function and directive in place.

You can generate one of these font files as a template at:~ http://oe4.snails.email. You can edit the font format by type, header and subjective follow through for implementation and development.

3D Font for Holographic and 3d displays

Any font is 2-Dimensional (X, Y axis) until a primary Z-axis is specified. The Z-axis provides the depth of scale, with middle Z axis at 50% the length. If you specify a -Z primary axis it is the same as absolute Z except it hugs the rear of the plainer display.

There is a secondary Z-axis with a pitch of a spline, this when it is negative flip the variables to type 2 of 3d and is still treated as the absolute Z-axis of pitch otherwise the depth of the spline node.
