HandWiki is the #3 world's largest wiki in terms page counts. It has a larger number of articles than in English Wikipedia for more than 10,000 categories dedicated to science and technology. HandWiki is non-for-profit and non-commercial. To be competitive with Wikipedia which has financial support from the corporate world, we kindly ask you for donations. This will ensure continuity and further development of this project. In addition, we are looking for sponsors:

The HandWiki team is looking for sponsors to cover operational expenses of this resource. During the period of time when a sponsor covers the maintenance cost of HandWiki, a logo of the sponsor with the URL link to sponsor's web page will be added to all HandWiki articles (at the bottom panel). |
HandWiki Membership
HandWiki registration is free for researches with verifiable professional credentials, i.e. if the authorship in peer-review journals, books etc. can be established using the 
ORCiD iD. If you do not have the ORCiD account, but you think you are sufficiently qualified to edit HandWiki, you may use the verification form. Your credentials will be reviewed and you will receive a verification code. However, this may take some time.
If you are not a scholar, consider to become a HandWiki member. During the registration we kindly ask you to donate small amount of money. Your contribution will support the administrators who will activate your account, and who will monitor your first steps as a HandWiki author. It is also used to improve the speed of the HandWiki website, to support the administrative cost of its content and will help fight spam.
If you cannot register with ORCiD but still want to contribute to HandWiki, use HandWiki sandbox to create test articles.

If you like this project, consider donating to HandWiki. These funds will be used to improve the speed of HandWiki web site and to support administrative cost of its content. The names of the people who financially contributed to HandWiki can be indicated on a special page.

Sponsoring the HandWiki project is a viable option for covering its operational cost. Advertise books with us
You can promote your book by adding a blog content to HandWiki blogs. We can also add a screenshot of the book title page to the main page of HandWiki in the sections "Did you know?" or "Featured Learning resources". Contact us for more information.
Sponsored Blogs
Sponsored blogs can be added to HandWiki blogs. A blog will stay permanently and may contain up to 2 dofollow links. Articles will be posted within 1-2 days. Sponsored article cannot be related to adult web sites.
Prices for sponsored blogs range from 15 to 50 dollars, depending on how much work needs to be done by the editors for conversion of such blogs to a well-formatted HTML. The upper price are for the blogs with "teaser" links from the main page of handwiki.org. In addition, such blog will be promoted on other high-quality web sites. Articles will be posted within 1-2 days.
After you submitted your blog to handwiki@jwork.org, you should receive an email with further instruction about the payment. Currently we only accept PayPal.

Sponsored (promoted) posts can also be add to the main page of HandWiki in the blocks "Featured Article" and "Post of Our Sponsors". Both text blocks should point to existing HandWiki articles. Contact us for more information.

External link insertion
Even if you are not registered user, you still can insert external links to HandWiki articles. Use the Suggestion tracker to send a suggestion. Your suggestion will be reviewed.
Advertising Opportunities
HandWiki allows adding non-intrusive image Ads with an external "dofollow" URL link at the ends of HandWiki articles. Such Ads can target the audience for thousands of articles in specific HandWiki topics, such as Software, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering etc. (16 topics).
The image for Ads should follow these requirements:
- Should be prepared in the PNG/JPEG format;
- No animated images inside the icon;
- The standard size of the icon is 120x90px;
- The white (or transparent) background for the image is preferred.
The image should be prepared by the advertising side (or by the HandWiki team in exceptional cases). Such Ads will go directly to the HandWiki support, therefore, one can use the word “Supported by”. Examples of such Ads images are shown at the bottom of this page. Here is an image template which can be re-used for your purpose.

Unlike many advertising resources, HandWiki's advertising features are maximum transparent for the users. The price per month is estimated from the number of independent HandWiki visitors. Before requesting advertising, please use the above link for cost estimates.
