Viewstats is a independent YouTube analytics software created by the American YouTuber James Stephen Donaldson (aka MrBeast), and co-founded by Chucky Appleby. It uses YouTube DPI to unveil stats about channels so that everyone can see at all times.[1] It allows users to use general tools, but also helps new YouTubers to grow their channel. Created in late May 2024 and presented in a MrBeast YouTube video in November, it is available in a Google Chrome extension via the Chrome Web Store for free[2], or it can be accessible to their official website.

General tools

Viewstats is a software tool that can help new creators to find proven content ideas and thumbnail inspirations[3]. Viewstats can analyse any channel that exists on YouTube. Similar to YouTube Studio, it can examine a channel to see how many subscribers and views counts on that channel. It can look over a video's total views, likes, comments, the typical performance and even the average revenue of a video. However, all these features (video only) requires an Viewstats account to use.

Viewstats Pro

Viewstats also comes with a subscription that allows users to use premium features. Starting at US$49.99 per month, with a 20% discount for a yearly subscription[4], it unlocks five "premium" features: Alerts, Outliers, Thumbnail Search, A/B Tests, and Collections.[5]

Donaldson and his team is currently planning for "dozen of more" premium tools. These five features are the first features in the paid subscription.[6]
