English: The 1952/3 model Alfa Romeo 6C 3000 PR "Disco Volante" shown at Chateau Impney in England on 12 July 2015, owned by Christopher Mann. This car was badly damaged, sold to Brazil where it ended in a museum until sold to the UK in mid 1980s. [1] According to english Wikipedia, the PR means "Passo Ridotto" (short wheelbase), and the car was "written off" in a 1954 crash (based on Fusi, 1978). Obviously, the disappeared car was later found. Not sure why it has the "Disco Volante" nickname. |
