Flann, son of Mac Luigi, superior of Corcach, fell asleep. / Mael Brigte, son of Mael Domnaig, superior of Les Mór, rested in Christ. / Cernachán, son of Duiligén, heir designate of Int Airthir, was slain in lake [by the cruel?] Niall, son of Aedho / Sochlachán, son of Diarmait, king of Uí Maini, ended [his life] in religion. / Cléirchén, son of Murchad, king of Uí Briúin Seóla, [and] Muiredach son of Mugrón, chief of Clann Cathail, die. / Many houses were burned in the close of Ard Mhacha through carelessness. / A dark and rainy year. / A comet appeared.]
