DescriptionBidahochi Formation on rim of Black Forest basin.jpg
English: This image shows beds of the Bidahochi Formation on the rim of the Black Forest basin, Petrified Forest National Park, Arizona, US. The Bidahochi beds are relatively thinly bedded and rest on thick mudstone beds of the Petrified Forest Member of the Chinle Formation, with the contact at about the level of the base of the lava flow at right. The Bidahoch Formation is about 15 to 4 million years old, much younger than the 240-210 million year old Petrified Forest Member.
