Summary

Description
English: Position of the planet Uranus on the day of its "official" discovery, March 13th, 1781.

The planet Uranus is marked on the star map with a cross together with is its astronomical symbol.

The ecliptic and some important right ascension and declination lines are also shown on the star map. As right ascension and declination of this map refer to the epoch 1781, the shown right acension and declination lines differ from the corresponding lines used on nearly all modern star maps.
