Summary

Description
English: This amended figure illustrates the resulting Green's function from the cross correlation of the ambient noise sources. For even distribution of ambient noise sources in situation A, the Green's function would be symmetrical. On the other hand, the ambient noise sources are unevenly distributed in situation B, so that the corresponding Green's function would be asymmetrical. Legends have been added below for convenience.
