English: A common subalpine to alpine fleabane in the Jarbidge Mountains. It is reminiscent of Erigeron tweedyi with its spatulate gray-green leaves and purplish ray flowers but the herbage is conspicuously hirsute and the flowering stems are ascending from a decumbent base and only a few cm long. These photographs were taken on Cougar Peak, Jarbidge Mountains, from the saddle to the summit. Eriogonum umbellatum var. dichrocephalum, two-color sulphur flower, is growing around the Erigeron.
