Summary

Description
English: The Soul Nebula (Westerhout 5 or Sharpless 2-199), that is seen on the photo as colorful patch above, is an emission nebula located 7500 light years away from Earth in constellation Cassiopeia. Several small open clusters are embedded in the Soul Nebula. The object is more commonly called by the star cluster designation IC 1848.

The Heart Nebula (IC 1805 or Sharpless 2-190) is also an emission nebula located in constellation Cassiopeia. It was discovered by William Herschel on 3 November 1787. It displays glowing ionized hydrogen gas and darker dust lanes.

Subframes for the photo was taken from Estonia. Stacked image is post-processed in so called HOO palette, where different wavelenghts has been assined different colors. Photo processing technique know as Drizzle (2x) has been used to increase the resolution of the original image.

Foto resolutsiooni on suurendatud läbi nii-nimetatud drizzle (2x) tehnika.

Kasutatud tehnika:

  • Teleskoop: Sharpstar edph61 III
  • Monteering: EQ6R-PRO
  • Kaamera: ASI071MC Pro

  • Säriaeg: 79x300sekundit (+50 tasavälja, 50 tumedat tasavälja, 50 tumedat)
  • Tarkvara: PHD2, N.I.N.A, PixInsight, Photoshop
