Description
English: Chromaffin cell imaged using interference reflection microscopy. Before stimulation, the footprint is largely dark. When the cell is superfused with a solution containing 60mM potassium, large dense core vesicles begin to fuse with the membrane, appearing as bright spots within the dark footprint.

imaged using 427nm light with an image interval of 100ms (10Hz) using a 60x objective (NA 1.45) with an additional 1.6x optovar. Converted to AVI with ImageJ and to OGG with SUPER.
