Summary
DescriptionSchiestlhaus Jul2007.jpg
English: Schiestlhaus, a modern mountain hut near the peak of the Hochschwab (Styria, Austria). The Schiestlhaus is the first mountain hut in the Alps that was built as a passive house, i.e., complying to a rigourous standard of energy saving and protection of the environment. Its unusual architecture was widely discussed.
