Description
English: The image shows the Manglen of Maharaja Bodhchandra inside the Kangla fort in Imphal. "Manglen" is the site where kings of Kangleipak (Manipur) were cremated. The mortal remains of Maharaja Bodhchandra Singh (Bodhachandra Singh), the last ruler of sovereign state of Manipur, was consigned to flames at this place on the 9th December, 1955.
