Summary
DescriptionUtahraptor size.png
English: Size diagram comparing three selected specimens of the gigantic North American dromaeosaurid Utahraptor ostrommaysi, to a 1.8 m (5.9 ft) tall human. Largest specimen is BYU 15465 with a femoral length of 60 cm (24 in),[1] next is CEU 184v.260 with a 50.5 cm (19.9 in) long tibia,[2] and finally BYU 7510 1481 with a reported femoral length of about ~33 cm (13 in).[3]
BYU 15465 is about 5 m (16 ft) in length, which successfully agrees with published length estimates for Utahraptor. Main reference of this size chart was the skeletal reconstruction by Dr. Scott Hartman.
