DescriptionZalmoxes UDL.png
English: Zalmoxes is a genus of ornithopod dinosaur named after the Romanian deity Zalmoxis, as a reference to being "resurrected" from its fossil grave. A fairly small, but robust bipedial herbivore, Zalmoxes could grow to about 2.5 m in length and weighed around 45 kg. It had a large triangular head and a beak, suggesting that it most likely had a diet consisting of tough fibrous plants like horsetails and ferns.
