'''Pham Huu Tiep''' ({{lang-vi|Phạm Hữu Tiệp}}) is a Vietnamese American [[Biography:Mathematician|mathematician]] specializing in [[Group theory|group theory]] and [[Representation theory|representation theory]].  He is currently a Joshua Barlaz Distinguished Professor of Mathematics at [[Organization:Rutgers University|Rutgers University]].

Pham Tiep graduated from Chu Văn An High School, and received a silver medal at the IMO in [[Place:London|London]] in 1979.<ref>[https://www.imo-official.org/participant_r.aspx?id=16581 Phạm Hưũ Tiệp] Official IMO page</ref> He received his Ph.D. at Moscow University in 1988 under supervision of [[Biography:Alexei Kostrikin|Alexei Kostrikin]].<ref>[http://www.genealogy.ams.org/id.php?id=14822&fChrono=1 Mathematics Genealogy Project]</ref> He gave an invited talk at the International Congress of Mathematicians in Rio de Janeiro in 2018. He is a Fellow of the American Mathematical Society, 
a Clay Institute Senior Scholar, and a Simons Fellow.
