The library is available for [[Software:Linux|Linux]], [[Software:Microsoft Windows|Windows]], [[Software:Mac OS X|Mac OS X]], [[Software:IRIX|IRIX]], and other [[Unix-like]] systems.

The library development is now a cooperative project hosted by [[Software:SourceForge|SourceForge]]. New versions are released twice-yearly and development versions are available via [[Software:Concurrent Versions System|Concurrent Versions System]] (CVS).
