The International Center for Information Technology and Development (ICITD) is a Louisiana Board of Regents[1]-approved center, in conjunction with educational institutions, collaborators, partners and funding agencies conduct research in advancing Information technology (IT) research, development and training globally with emphasis on least developed countries. Founded in August 2007, the center is domiciled in Southern University and A&M College, Baton Rouge, Louisiana and headed by Victor Mbarika.[2]
