Usage

Use the template as a pass-through for displaying a video games icon. The unnamed parameters passed to this template (size, left/right, etc) are used as arguments for an actual image request, using {{WPVG icon direct}} as the image name.
Unless a "|link=" parameter is passed, the image links by default to WP:WikiProject Video games.
If you want to update the icon image, update the file name at {{WPVG icon direct}}. Additionally, you will need to update the Module:Portal/images/v Lua submodule.
