Suade Labs is a regulatory technology company headquartered in London that provides regulatory reporting software to banks. Suade is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Innovators community[1] and Global Future Council[2], and collaborates with the WEF on research into regulatory technology.[3] As of 2024, Suade employs approximately 100 people and has offices in London, New York and Singapore.

Services

Suade assists banks and financial institutions to submit regulatory returns to regulators including the European Banking Authority, the Bank of England, and the US Federal Reserve.

Most of Suade's customers use cloud-based software which enables them to receive monthly or weekly software updates.

History

Suade was founded in London in 2014.[4] The company received a European Commission grant in 2015[5] to help create an open-source standard for regulatory reporting, called FIRE (FInancial REgulatory Data Standard).

Suade was listed as one of the 'FinTech50' list of high-potential European fintech firms in 2017.[6]

Suade received funding from the Monetary Authority of Singapore in 2018 and started doing business in Singapore the same year.[7][8]

In 2021, Suade received investment from a panel of investors led by Glenn Hutchins.[9][10]

The company is advised by a panel of regulatory experts[11] including:

  • William (Bill) Coen, former secretary general of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS)[12][13]
  • William (Bill) Dudley, former Federal Reserve Bank of New York president
  • Eugene (Gene) Ludwig, 27th Comptroller of Currency under former President Bill Clinton
  • Lyndon Nelson, former deputy CEO of the Bank of England
