Conasprella stearnsii, common name Stearn's cone, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Conidae, the cone snails and their allies.[1]
Like all species within the genus Conasprella, these snails are predatory and venomous. They are capable of "stinging" humans, therefore live ones should be handled carefully or not at all.
Distribution
This species occurs in the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico.
Description
The maximum recorded shell length is 24.5 mm.[2]
Habitat
Minimum recorded depth is 0 m.[2] Maximum recorded depth is 57 m.[2]
