Redwire is a space infrastructure technology company formed by the acquisition of multiple smaller space companies by the private equity firm AE Industrial Partners.[1] It is set to go public through a merger with the SPAC Genesis Park Acquisition Corp., valuing the company at US$615 million.[2]

Companies

Redwire was formed via the acquisition of Adcole Space, Deep Space Systems, Deployable Space Systems (DSS), LoadPath, Made In Space, Inc., Oakman Aerospace and Roccor.

Made in Space was acquired in June 2020, by Redwire,[3] a newly formed company of the merger between Deep Space Systems and Adcole Space.[4]

Oakman Aerospace was founded in 2012 and is based in Littleton, Colorado.[5] Oakman is building a satellite ground station with 5.5 m dish at Chippewa County International Airport.[6]

Roccor is a manufacturer of solar panels, antennas, and deployable booms. Its acquisition by Redwire was announced on 29 October2020.[7] Based in Longmont, Colorado, Roccor was an 80-person company at the time of acquisition.[8]
