Open Business Readiness Rating (OpenBRR) is an Open source software assessment methodology defining an open and standard assessment process. This methodology tries to integrate companies constraints (notably for tests and reliability), and focuses on the sharing and the reduction of the Total Cost of Ownership perceived for Open Source software.

The methodology is currently at a RFC stage.

The sponsors for this methodology are notably Carnegie Mellon West Center for Open Source Investigation, CodeZoo, SpikeSource and Intel.
