Sociology of Economics

Sociology of Economics is the term in the JEL classification codes of the Journal of Economic Literature for identifying articles in economics journals about "non-economic issues related to economists and economics, including citation analysis, departmental rankings, and journal rankings."[1] The JEL code for that term is A14. The JEL Classification Codes Guide adds the warning that the term "does not include economic sociology which should be classified under Z13.[1] Examples of articles classified as A14, Sociology of Economics are:
