Scoparia cordata is a moth in the family Crambidae. It was described by Wei-Chun Li in 2012. It is found in Jiangxi, China.[1]
The length of the forewings is 5.5-6.5 mm. The forewings are suffused with blackish-brown scales. The antemedian line is white and the antemedian stigmata is blackish brown. The postmedian and subterminal line are white. The termen is white with a row of pale brown dots. The hindwings are greyish white, suffused with pale brown scales along the veins.
Etymology
The species name refers to the male genitalia with a heart-shaped juxta and is derived from Latin cordatus (meaning heart shaped).[2]
