Wahlenbergia communis, commonly known as native bluebell, is a small herbaceous plant in the family Campanulaceae native to Western Australia.[1]
The erect to ascending perennial herb typically grows to a height of 0.1 to 0.6 metres (0.3 to 2.0 ft). It blooms between August and March producing white-blue flowers.
The species is found on the edges of watercourses on flats and rocky hillsides in the Mid West, Wheatbelt and Goldfields-Esperance regions of Western Australia where it grows in sandy-loamy soils.[1]
