Angus Reid Institute is a national [1], not-for-profit organization commissioning research and opinion polls on issues that matter to Canadians. It is a not-for-profit, non-partisan public opinion research foundation established to enhance and encourage better understanding of issues and trends affecting economic, social, governance, philanthropy, public administration, domestic and foreign policy in Canada and its world. The activities are funded through an initial endowment from the Reid family and project-based funding provided by fellow not-for-profit organizations and selected partners in Canada.

Angus Reid Institute conducts and disseminate original, publicly accessible and impartial statistical public opinion polling research and policy analysis. Our public education program makes this information available primarily through the [https:angusreid.org] website as well as through publications, news media, consultations and presentations via social media channels and partner organizations.

The Angus Reid Institute was founded in October 2014 by pollster & sociologist, Dr. Angus Reid. It has the status of a registered charity in Canada.
