Rationalist Judaism is an ideology that refuses to ascribe divine power to anything other than God Himself. The basic tenet is to remove from Jewish theology the belief in spirits, angels, demons, or other aspects of supernaturalism.[1] Rationalist Judaism can be found in the works of Saadiah Gaon, Hasdai Crescas, Gersonides, and Joseph Albo among others.[2]
