Lastol is an elastic textile fiber produced by Dow Chemical. First classified in January 2003,[1][2] Dow is marketing it as DOW XLA elastic fiber.
Dow has created a division called Dow Fiber Solutions, or (DFS), to market this new fiber. It is resistant to chemicals and heat[3] and is more abrasion resistant than cotton.[4]
