libqrencode is a free and open-source library for encoding QR code. This is created by Kentaro Fukuchi, a professor of School of Interdisciplinary Mathematical Science, Meiji University.[2] It is written in C, and the feature is a fast and compact library.[1]
systemd can be specified this as an optional dependency at build time.[3]
A console application for encoding QR code called qrencode
has also been developed.[1]
