Company Information
Nextcat, Inc. was founded by Berklee College of Music alumni Jeff Pucci and Richard Viard, long-time business partners who created the first-ever shipping title for the Microsoft Multimedia PC (Composer Quest, 1991) under a development partnership called Virtual Entertainment, Inc. Messrs Pucci and Viard later founded an early e-commerce company called SmarterKids.com[1] (Nasdaq-listed IPO in November, 1999), which was subsequently sold to a Monterey, CA-based school supply firm called Excelligence Learning Corp in April, 2001.
