Serge Levin (San Francisco , California, United States , October 3, 1979) is an American entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, business development, and media production. Following his investment banking days with "Salomon Brothers" and "Bear Stearns", and managing several private equity funds in Europe, Levin founded a global trade and consulting firm, Meridian Orbis Group, as well as a media production and financing outfit, Isle Empire Pictures. Some of the more notable media projects he's known for: Alterscape, Jack Goes Home, The Americans, and Stranger Things.

Career

Serge Levin studied Finance and Political Science at the San Diego State University 1997-2001, in San Diego, California United States . Serge Levin worked as a Financial Analyst with "Salomon Brothers" in California and then "Bear Stearns" in New York in 2001. In 2004, he went on to manage several public and private equity portfolios for a European hedge fund, First Mercantile Capital Partners. The main private asset was Rambler Media Group, where Serge played an active role in prepping necessary documentation and valuation for its public placement on the London’s AIM exchange.

Following Rambler’s successful IPO, Levin was invited to join a private business conglomerate, ArvitFood, as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The group invested in several real-estate development projects and operated grocery chain supermarkets and hypermarkets. During his tenure at ArvitFood, Serge negotiated financing and equity deals with International Finance Corporation (IFC) and European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Subsequently he joined a Brazilian engineering company as its Director of Operations.

In 2018, Serge Levin secured a strategic partnership and shareholding with an AI tech company (SPIRIT AI), founded by former IBM Watson developers. Incorporated in the U.K., they now have presence in New York and San Francisco with clients including: Zynga, Twitch, Magic Leap, Cartoon Network, Deutsche Telekom and Hanson Robotics.

Mr. Levin is the founder of Meridian Orbis Group (MOG), an international trade and consulting corporation with emphasis on very exclusive and rare products, or solutions with high barriers to entry.

Serge Levin's business in the media sphere dates back to 2012, when he wrote and directed his first short film "Paragon Algorithm". In 2016 Serge Levin wrote and directed his first feature film "Alterscape" (starring Michael Ironside), which had its world premiere at the "Philip K. Dick Science Fiction Film Festival" on February 23, 2018 in New York, winning Best Feature award.[1] As an actor, Serge Levin co-starred in the horror film "Jack Goes Home", starring Rory Culkin and Lin Shaye, directed by Thomas Dekker that world premiered at the South by Southwest (SXSW) international film festival and distributed by eONE.

Levin's films in post-production: a science fiction "Superstrata", starring Robert F. Lyons, Jim Meskimen, Paz de la Huerta and Alex Veadov; with special appearance and technical consulting by Dr. Daniel Lidar; Currently filming: an action "War on War"; and a drama "You Above All"; In development: a new feature film adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft's short story - "Herbert West: Reanimator".

Serge Levin has co-starred in the following Television shows: "Stranger Things", "The Americans", "30 Rock", "Law and Order: Criminal Intent", "Mysteries at the Museum".

He is also the founder of "Isle Empire Pictures", a full service media production company; as well as a Synth-Wave music band "RAIN4SALE (Rain For Sale)"; and a music label "FeelTrap Records".
