Andrej Drapal (born 1 September 1958) is a Slovene entrepreneur and philosopher.

During his studies, he served as editor at Tribuna magazine (1979-1982) and as an editor at Slovene radio station Radio Student[1] in Ljubljana, as CEO of the later between 1982 and 1986. Due to this professional engagement, several hundred of Drapal's articles on art, culture, and society appeared in Slovene media before he finished his master's degree in Philosophy and comparative literature[2] at the University of Ljubljana.

From 1986 to 1991, he was the head of theatre and film department in Cankarjev dom, Ljubljana. As an independent producer he established[3] InArt center. From 1991 to 2011, he was a partner of largest Slovenian public relations and marketing agency, Pristop. In 1996, Drapal founded the first professional lobby association in Slovenia,[4] as well as the Chamber of Business Services of Slovenia in 2004.[5] He was a member of various boards, including president of the National Gallery of Slovenia[6] board and a member of the Ljubljanafestival program board from 2010 to 2021.[7] He served as a consultant for many Slovenian and international companies.

From 1998 on, Drapal started to develop his branding and marketing model,[8] recognized as Standard Branding Model©. He has designed several brands and business models based on this model since now. The brand I Feel Slovenia[9] is the most visible result that came out of this model and a group led by Andrej Drapal. It has been the official national brand from 2008 on. Drapal's book Brandlife[10] (2016) is the published result of his branding model. From 2006 on, he started to build up a unique conceptual/philosophical system that unifies evolutionary theory, evolutionary psychology, neuroscience, complexity theory, memetics, liberal economy, and liberal philosophy into a coherent system that he named[11] Homonism (2022).
