Demequina is a genus of bacteria in the phylum Actinomycetota.[1]
Etymology
The name Demequina derives from:
- Neo-Latin feminine gender noun Demequina, arbitrary name derived from demethylmenaquinone, an unusual quinone found in this organism.[3]
