Oracle Complex Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (Oracle cMRO) is both an aircraft maintenance application for transportation and defense operations and an MRO service application for aerospace and defense manufacturers. Oracle cMRO integrates service supply chain planning, scheduling, and fleet configuration management capabilities in a single, real-time information system.
About cMRO
One of the most critical activities for airline MRO is to strike a balance between supply and demand, as insufficient stock of spare parts can lead to stock outs and result in Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations, and excess inventory will result in high inventory carrying cost. Oracle's solution to this industry vertical is Oracle Complex Maintenance Repair and Overhaul. Oracle cMRO is part of the Oracle E-Business Suite which offers a tailor-made solution for running an airline/ independent MRO industry.
Features
Enigma Integration
The integration between Oracle's CMRO and Enigma's 3C[1] is designed for maintenance service providers to enable the maintenance technicians with a set of tools that connects Oracle CMRO's back office functionality for configuration management, engineering and maintenance planning with Enigma's documentation centric maintenance execution system in a wireless environment.
Enigma integration performs the following:
- Associating Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) Tasks to Route Management
- Associating Enigma Configuration Information to Master Configuration
- Associating Enigma Configuration Information to Unit Configuration
- Viewing and Printing Enigma Content in CMRO Execution Module
Oracle cMRO consists of 4 main modules, Configuration, Execution, Planning and Engineering.
