Apiaká is an Extinct language according to the criteria of the UNESCO Atlas of the World's Languages in Danger

Apingi, also known as Apiaká (of Tocantins), is an extinct and poorly attested Cariban language. Kaufman (2007) placed it in his Arara branch.
