Usage

{{Use Commonwealth English|date=November 2024}}

This maintenance template adds articles to the hidden category Category:Use Commonwealth English to denote articles that have Commonwealth English spelling. In most cases, Commonwealth English is indistinguishable in a formal, written, encyclopedic register from British English. This template exists for use in articles with strong national ties to Commonwealth of Nations countries and other former British territory, and to forestall the creation of numerous nationalistic templates for dialects (Trinidadian, Malaysian, Maltese, Zimbabwean, etc.) that do not have distinct, codified formal forms with their own style guides.
