Karpura Gauram Karunavataram is an ancient Sanskrit Shloka related to Shiva, and a popular aarti in Shaivism.[1][2][3]

कर्पूरगौरं करुणावतारम् karpūragauraṁ karuṇāvatāraṁ The one who is as pure as camphor, the embodiment of compassion.[2][4]
संसारसारं भुजगेन्द्रहारम् | sansārasāram bhujagendrahāram | The one who is the essence of the world, with the serpent king as his garland
सदा वसन्तं हृदयारविन्दे sadāvasantaṁ hṛdayāravinde Always residing in the lotus-like heart
भवं भवानीसहितं नमामि || bhavaṁ bhavānīsahitaṁ namāmi || Accompanied by the Goddess Bhavani (Parvati, Shiva's consort), I bow

In popular culture

The Shloka has been used on multiple times on the popular show Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev which was aired on channel Life OK in India.[1]
