Indian Institute of Oil Palm Research is a research institution of palm oil headquartered in Pedavegi. It is under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), which is the apex body for coordinating, guiding, and managing research and education in agriculture in the entire country under the aegis of Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare.[1] It also works as a government's think tank organisation dedicated for palm oil.[2] R.K. Mathur is currently the director of the institution[3]
