Acuminate shape of leaf Tapering to a long point, such as in the shape of leaves or other botanical features such as the stamen filaments.

Etymology

From the 16th century Latin acuminatus 'pointed', from acuminare 'sharpen to a point', and acuere 'sharpen'.[1]
