Vokkaligara Sangha is a democratically elected Vokkaliga community organisation that was founded in 1906 in Bengaluru to promote the social, cultural and educational aspirations of the Vokkaliga community. Vokkaligara Sangha has its headquarters in Bengaluru, Karnataka and has many affiliated regional sanghas. Today, Vokkaligara Sangha is one of the top community organisations in Karnataka State that serves the Vokkaliga community in different areas.[1][2]
Management
Vokkaligara Sangha has a well structured election system. Elected members handle key roles in Sangha's activities and Sangha owned institutions. Elected members serve as community representatives of their regions.[3][4]

Sangha owns reputed educational institutions like Bangalore Institute of Technology[5] and Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS).
