The default behavior is point to Handwiki (but this can change). The code produces Histogram using inline. To add a custom description, use:

{{hwk|Histogram| My histogram}}

which makes My histogram . This is another example

{{hwk|United States| United States}}

which creates United States .

You can use this approach in references too and templates.
