Davies Dome ( [ ⚑ ] : 63°53′S 58°3′W / 63.883°S 58.05°W / -63.883; -58.05) is a small ice dome with rock walls at the margins, rising to 400 metres (1,300 ft) southeast of Stoneley Point on James Ross Island. It was named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee in 1987 after Gwion ("Taff") Davies, general assistant on Operation Tabarin at Port Lockroy, 1943–44, and Hope Bay, 1944–45.
