Nagi-P Software is a Japanese software company founded in 1989 by Akihiko Kusanagi at the age of 13.[1] They originally developed for the MSX platform, from 1989–1991. Following this, they took a five-year hiatus before returning with the series of shareware Macintosh games for which they are best known: NS-Tower and NS-Shaft. They eventually released a Windows version of NS-Tower in 1997. They have subsequently released other games, but none has been as well known as NS-Tower or NS-Shaft.

Tower & Shaft, an arcade game based on both NS-Tower and NS-Shaft, was released in 2003 by Aruze (and ported to the Game Boy Advance by Altron in 2004). Although this game was licensed by Nagi-P Soft, they do not seem to have been directly involved in its development.
