Robert E. Paaswell is an American engineer and the current Distinguished Professor at the Grove School of Engineering. He is Director Emeritus of the University Transportation Research Center at City College of New York,[1] and a published author.[2] Paaswell helped establish the Center for Transportation Studies and Research at State University of New York and the Urban Transportation Center at University of Illinois. From 1986 to 1989, he was also the CEO of the Chicago Transit Authority. He has been included in the Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Engineering and Who's Who in Finance and Industry.[1]
