Massoud Amin, professor at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, was named Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in 2016[1] for leadership in smart grids and security of critical infrastructures. Dr. Amin holds B.S. (cum laude) and M.S. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, and M.S. and D.Sc. degrees in systems science and mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
