Parameters

Only use those parameters that convey essential or notable information about the subject. Any parameters left blank or omitted will not be displayed.

Parameter Explanation
name Name of the mark.
image An image/logo of the mark. Use the [[File:filename.ext|200px]] syntax. Note that the image size (width) parameter is required, otherwise it would default to the actual width of the image used.
caption Descriptive information for the logo, if necessary.
expansion Expansion if the name of the mark is an abbreviation.
standards_org Name of the organization which sets the standards that governs the certification.
agency The agency that issues the certification, if different from the standards organization. Please note that this entry is not meant for numerous accredited testing firms. This field should be used only if due to some reasons, the standards are set by one organization and the certification is controlled exclusively by another.
region The country/state/continent/regional-union in which the certification mark has a legal status or is accepted.
founded Date since the mark is in effect
defunct Date on which the mark became obsolete. This would usually be due to the mark being succeeded by a new one. Use Template:End date for the date.
predecessor If this certification mark is the successor of a previous one.
successor If this certification mark is no more in effect, and is succeeded by a new mark.
products Products or product categories to which the certification is applicable.
type Industrial/Religious
legalstatus Whether the certification mark has a Mandatory status by the law or whether it has only an Advisory status.
mandatorysince Date since the mark got a mandatory status (if this is different from the founded date).
homepage Official website of the certification mark or url to the page which describes the mark in the official website of the standards organization or certifying agency. Use the URL template.
