Dorycnium is a formerly recognized genus in the pea family, found in the Mediterranean and the Canary Islands. It was described by Philip Miller in 1754 in the fourth edition of The Gardeners Dictionary.[1] It is now considered a synonym of Lotus.[2][3][4]
