Jooble (/ˈbəl/) [1] is a vertical job search engine that aggregates and displays job ads from thousands of job boards, corporate, recruiter pages and newspapers. Jooble is represented in 71 countries and available in 24 languages.[2] The company is based in Kyiv, Ukraine.[3]

Overview

As of December 2019, Jooble was the second most visited job search site (after Indeed),[4] with 90 million visits per month on average and roughly 950 million visits during 2019.[3][5][6]

The geography of income is quite diversified as no country brings more than 7% of the total revenue.[7] 60% of all revenue comes from Europe.

Jooble collects job vacancies from job boards, company pages, newspapers, and recruitment agencies. The user starts the search on the site by entering the city and the name of the vacancy. Filters are available to sort ads by city distance, date, salary, and employer name.[8] Full-time and part-time jobs are indexed, as well as internships and freelance jobs. By clicking on the ad, the user is redirected to the relevant page of the company to apply for the job.

History

The company was founded by Roman Prokofiev and Eugene Sobakarev in 2006.[9] Co-founders invested about $100,000 into the project.[10]

In 2014, Horizon Capital invested in the company.[11][12] As for December 2019, Jooble has only one external minority investor.[13] Founders Roman and Eugene remain at the chief executive roles at Jooble. According to the local overview Jooble's co-founder Roman Prokofiev ranks among the top 5 IT-entrepreneurs in Ukraine.[14]

In 2015, Jooble occupied the 32-nd spot in the ranking of top 50 most visited job search sites.[15]

As for 2018, Jooble ranks #3 among the most attractive tech companies to work for in Ukraine according to MC.Today's survey.[16]

In 2019, the company reached a daily audience of 2 million visitors.[17]
